We are a shooting family!!!

We went shooting yesterday with some friends of ours up a canyon behind Vernal. We had a blast. Thank heavens there were left over beer cans from recent shooters (scary thought about drunk people and beer), broken pigeons, and a wipes box from our car to use as targets.(I have not recently taken up drinking, it is just a target)We also forgot ear plugs so now Aaron has had a constant ringing in his ears since yesterday afternoon. If anyone know how to take care of a ringing ear drum please let us know.Thank you!!!

Our Bubble Queen

Just wanted to post a couple recent pictures of our princess. She has recently started drenching everything that goes near her mouth with bubbles and drool. My shoulder is always shiny and wet and there are spit marks on everything. She is also a champ when it comes to making the biggest line of spit that could hang from someones mouth. She is adorbale and we love her, spit and all!

HEY!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that our sweet girl had her two month appointment yesterday and she was 11 lbs and 11oz and 24 and 1/2 in long. She is in the 95% for her hieght and the 45% for her weight. So like her daddy she is tall and skinny. She also laughed for the first time today. I kept saying hello and then bringing her close to my face. She got a kick out of it. They were some of the sweetest sounds I have ever heard in my life. She is such a Joy!!!

Rachel:(v).cookie maker extraordinaire

Okay so anyone who knows me knows that I try to cook and I stink. Any dish that I make could be compared to a diaper that has been run over by a diesel truck about five times. Well today I thought that I might try to be a good homemaker by having fresh baked cookies ready for Aaron when he got home from work. Everything was going great until I put the cookies on the cookie sheet and realized that they looked more like blobs of cake batter rather than cookie dough. Cookie dough is supposed to be thick yeah mine was liquid. So rather than beautiful chocolate chip cookies minus the chocolate chips(don't really like chocolate), I have some kind of a dead looking pancake bread that tastes alot like chocolate chip cookies minus the chocolate chips. I tried. ha ha ENJOY!!!

Hard Sleeper...ha ha

Aaron and I walked into the living room after scripture study and found Oaklee asleep in her swing like this. Let me tell you guys that there was no wakin her up either. ha ha Fat thighs crossed, mouth wide open, and a light snore. I have never seen her sleep so hard. It was one of the cutest things that I have ever seen.

Visit from Uncle Cam

While we went to Vegas for Christmas, one of Aaron's good friends from 3 years of baseball got to come by and visit his new girlfriend Oaklee. We have kept in touch with him since we left San Diego and during my entire pregnancy we have called him Uncle Cam. It was a blast watching him interact with Oaklee and from him "Rach, I don't mean to sound bold, but I sense something really special happening here." and to Oaklee "I knew we would hit it off". as she smiled and talked to him. It was a fun experience and we sure miss ya Uncle Cam!!!
