Greatest Weekend Ever...

So we ate dinner Friday night here. May I recommend the Dallas Fillet with mushrooms and a LOADED sweet potato. Call ahead seating is awesome too if you can kill an hour before the time they give you. We waited 10 minutes while others waited 55 minutes.

Marriot Hotel Downtown Salt Lake.We stayed here Friday night. OMG!!! That is all I have to say about that. We were on the 7th floor and our views were INCREDIBLE of the Salt Lake Valley. The inside of the room was just as wonderful as the view.

We woke up Saturday and took our time. We rented a movie, got ready for the day and were out the door by 9:15a. We wanted to eat at IHOP or something like that and found nothing so we drove around for 45 minutes and finally found an Einstein Bagels. Yeah they still exist and their flat bread egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich is great! The sky was gray, the rain was misty, and the sidewalks were wet. You would think we were crazy for doing some shopping at the Gateway but it was perfect. We just strolled the empty mall and went to the stores we loved. I totally scored the girl's winter clothes for this coming winter at Gymboree from the clearance racks. Then we went to Costco. YUM and HOORAY for samples (chicken mozzarella raviolis). It sounds silly to spend the weekend shopping and driving but being in the company of my best friend and personal sun on a cold day was PERFECT. This pre-baby, late-Valentine's, pre-birthday, just for the heck of it weekend was something I will never forget(it just dawned on me that maybe I should have got pictures of it all, uhhhhhh). Aaron, I love you more than I can even express. Thank you for such a dream weekend and thanks to mom for watching Oak for us. We love you!
P.S. We are inducing March 25. WOO HOO!!!
