To whom it may concern:
Okay so Oak has been very grumpy and sleepy lately. Had no idea why, thought it was just another growth spurt. Ha Ha yeah no!!! She started a fever early early Monday morning and while she was yelling in pain, I just happened to get a good look at the inside of her mouth and there to my surprise was a little white dot. Yes ladies and gentelmen, her first tooth. Her fever is 101.something, her gums are swollen, and my sweet baby girl is very unhappy! So in the event of the discovery of this new resident of my daughters mouth, I have decided to call this tiny invader the tooth from HELL!!! Thank you you stinky poop of a tooth for hurting my baby. If anyone knows anything that can help soothe my baby's pain, please please please respond.
Many Thanks,
An extremely tired mother

This is Corinne, Nick’s wife. You came to our house for a super bowl party last year!
Anyway how weird is it that I stumbled upon your blog on the day that you posted this. Our baby girl just got her first tooth on Saturday and I feel your pain. I just gave her a warm bath and .08 of Tylenol every eight hours and used baby oragel every now and then, and then just rocked her for hours while she yelled at me. She made it through a tough weekend but she's good now (until the next one pops out) Hope this helps, sorry your baby is hurting.
the only thing I have heard, Archie hasn't gone through this yet, is that a cold, wet washcloth for her to chew on or suck on might help. I hope it all goes well!
Hello!
It's Aaron's cousin, DanaLee. Teething is the pits! I am so sorry! I found that baby orajel really helps and of course tylenol. Good luck!
The joys of teething! Poor baby :( It is no fun to see your baby so sad... For Toby, I used baby tylenol and something called teething tablets. I got them at wal mart in the baby section. It is a small tablet that dissolves in their mouth. This seemed to help her pretty good. I used orajel with her as well. My pediatrician told me to just use it sparingly because of the numbing ingredients....?? Good luck, I hope this helps a little.
Cada loves sucking on a cold wet wash cloth or the teething rings that you can put in the fridge! Good Luck you only have like 20 more to go! Ha ha!
