For Family...
For my sweet family on both sides,
I want you all first to know that this has been the best year we have had so far in our married life. I know so much has happened and how much has changed but I want you all to know that no matter what changes life brings and what new paths we may go on, I feel privileged to call you mine. I will forever believe that all of my best attributes were not developed on my own but they were passed to me from you. You have saved us so many times that I cannot even count and I do believe that there is no earthly way for you to understand the debt that I feel toward you. I owe you all so much and although I know we will never be completely stable in everything, I will always do anything in my power to pay you back for all that you have done for us. We could not have made it several times without your encouragement, love, support, and forgiveness. Thank you. This holiday season if you we are apart or together, please remember how much I love you and how grateful I am for everything you have done for me and mine.

Stuck between a couch and hard place...
So I am trying to type this without peeing my pants while I do so. I am watching some TV this morning just trying to wake up and I think that Oak is next to me coloring when I hear her shout and then start crying. I look down and her head is shoved in between the couches and she is face down with her butt in the air kicking one of her legs. I have to say that pregnancy got the best of me and I did wet my pants while trying to call Aaron and take pictures. I know I stink. Instead of snapping pictures with my phone and camera I should have been trying to get her un-stuck. You guys would have died. She was able to turn over by herself and that helped a little bit. Well the just of it, Aaron and I had a good long laugh, Oak cried and then laughed too, and she got un-stuck. She is so dramatic. Wonder where she gets that from;).
Just Oak...
This kid is my sunshine. I swear I get her dressed and do her hair daily but she pulls her hair out and strips and then redresses at least 6 times. This is one of her special outfits. It is a bathing suit cover but she thinks it is a coat. She was standing on the seat of her bike and sticking her other leg in the air, kissing her baby, dancing to whatever imaginary music she has playing in her head, putting lotion on her face, legs and hair, and just being adorable. I love this kid and I am so grateful for my camera from Santa that I can now use to capture all of these sweet moments.

Thanksgiving Weekend
Oak's 2 Birthday

Sorry these are so late, I stink. For Oak's 2nd birthday Aaron's family traveled out to spend the day with us. She got her very first big girl bike, some movies, some badly needed jammies, a baby(she is going to be the best mother some day), one of those old school big bouncy balls that you sit on and just bounce(she loves it), and lots of coloring stuff(she'll be an artist like me:)). I made some monster and spider cupcakes that turned out so fun. I am so grateful for such a tight nit family that sticks together through everything and is there for each other through anything. So Yeah, Happy 2nd Birthday again my big girl! We love you!!!
