Have I told you lately that I love you....

So while I was reading my hero's blog(nienie dialogues), her post made me think of a stupid cheesy yet totally romantic song. haha listed above in the title of this post if you can't tell. Now do me a favor and lightly hum this song in your head. Pretty great huh?! Well her post made me want to write this to my better half.

My dearest Brady,
Let me first start out by thanking you for my incredible life. For our incredibly gorgeous daughter, and now our sweet little bundle of morning sickness and hamburger cravings. Thank you for working yourself exhausted day in and day out so that I can stay at the house and create a home for our growing family. Thank you for your CONSTANT patience with my crazy and flighty ways. Thank you for listening to my silly stories that make me overly-excited about everything stupid and pointless. Thank you for clothing me, feeding me. and for letting me make the house freezing with the crap butt swamp cooler. Thank you for loving me so hard and so completely. Thank you for giving me a shot at eternity.
Now I want you to know the things that I say drive me nuts about you are also the things that I would never want to live without. I love tripping over your lunch box and motorcycle helmet. They help me know that you got home safely that day. I love your crazy busy schedule because it reminds me that you are constantly giving of your time to others and what they may need. Thank you for your quiet and calm ways. With out them we have me and a spouse like me and every human being around knows that two of me would certainly bring on either a wave of hysteria and psychosis or the end of the world, (haha I know I am not that bad but it's funny to make fun of myself) I love how overly-safe you drive. You have kept us alive this long so you must be doing something right. I love how you will dig through stuff looking for something specific and end up finding 11 different things that I thought were long gone, that we can totally live without, and that I am going to have to shove somewhere else just to get them out of sight. It reminds me that we are always blessed with more than enough.
And finally I just want you to know how over-the-hills, above the moon, past the stars, and out of this world in love I am with you. Yes I am sensitive and hormonal but I swear that the spirit is the most strong for me when I am like this. :) Plain and simple, I love you Aaron Brady, then, now, and tomorrow, for the rest of eternity. You are my best friend and the best part about me. Thank you!
Love, Rach

Something Different?

Okay so I am only almost 5 weeks prego but oh my gosh have I been feeling the symptoms for about 5 days now! I think that I forgot how lovely this was. But I didn't have symptoms until after 6 weeks with Oak so I am left wondering. I know that people say that a boy and a girl make you have different pregnancies but I thought it was just each pregnancy is different period. Well I must say that I am keeping my fingers crossed for the first idea personally because it is high time for a boy on both sides of our family. If anyone knows my family, I am the oldest of 4 girls and now with my sister about to pop out her 1st GIRL/1st kid, I am beginning to think that my families female environment is to hostile for the male to survive. haha We are pistols in my family. And on my husbands side , the girls are gorgeous and perfect but we only have two boys, poor little guys! So just wondering what your thoughts are about the whole boy and girl pregnancies being different. The Chinese birthing calendar said that this one is a girl, and those Chinese are a smart group of people. So I dunno, I am left thinking it might just be a boy because my symptoms started so soon, or maybe this particular baby just loves me so much that it wants me to know right off, "MOM!!!! MOM!!!! I AM HERE!!!" Well thank you my dearest little one, yes you sure are here. ughhh! nausea. :) Let me know. Grassy ass!

Little One #2!!!

I know that it maybe is a little early to start saying anything but anyone who knows me really well knows that I die trying to keep surprises a secret. But I don't care! I have been screaming for the last 40 minutes and I am so excited to say that we are expecting baby #2! I love being a mom more than I have ever loved anything (I do love my husband a bit more) but amounts aside, I am beyond happy words. I am ecstatic! So April 2, 2011 we will welcome our new precious spirit into the world! Quote for your day: A baby is God's opinion that life should go on! I love both of my babies!

New project idea...

Well if every single one of my new goals and ideas has not exhausted you yet, just wait, this last one is sure too. So drawing and painting, check, sewing and creating, check, teaching, check, kick butt wife and mother, check, public speaking, check, writing a book, a not yet but soon.
That is right. I am going to write a book. I want a new challenge, I want another change, I want to grow and expand my knowledge and experience even more, I want my testimony to grow and I want to grow closer to those that I love and make new friends and share the true gospel of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So thank you grandma for my new idea for my latest endeavor.
I love a challenge. I love growth. I thrive with change. I want to make a difference in this crazy infected world by bringing to the surface the beautiful realities that come with a daughter who has a sticky face, a husband with dirty rough calloused hands, eyes that are red from crying , laundry draped over the couch, and a heart that is about to explode from the love and relationship that I have and that anyone can have with a perfect and loving and real Father in Heaven whose love for me and everyone is never ending and uncomprehendingly strong despite my never ending flaws and the flaws that come with being human period.
So tonight I start and I will keep ya posted.

Sweet Beautiful Simplicity!

It is 10:52 on a beautiful Wednesday morning and my arm is falling asleep as I try to blog because Oak is draped over my arm and the arm rest of the couch looking at the world upside down. Her hair is messy and her chest is sticky from breakfast this morning. She sits up and yawns then looks toward the window and calls for my mom, "GaGa". She then faces me and starts pulling on little bits of my hair while she sings some tune that is unknown, except to anyone that might be a year old. She rams her face into my my lips so that I will kiss her and the more I type and the longer she has to wait for my undivided attention, the rams get harder. Her chubby finger finds the keyboard and lightly presses a key. I am frustrated now because she won't let me type and it seems like I am backspacing a whole lot more than I am able to type forward. She is back over my arm and the arm rest trying to grab a book upside down from off the shelf. Ow. there goes a poke to my eye and a booger bubble popping out of her nose.
Just wanted to blog this sweet beautiful moment to those that I love and let you know how much I love my life! I love my daughter and my husband. I know that the church is true and the only reason my life is so rich is because of my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. Prayer is real and I truly communicate with my Father through prayer. He speaks to me through the Holy Ghost lightly touching my heart and through his prophets in the Book Of Mormon. There is a living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. He leads and guides members of the church through the teachings of Christ. I am what I am and I have what I have only because of my Father and Brother.
