Potty Training Diaries, Day 1...
Okay so Oak has been peeing in the toilet for a couple weeks now but over the last two days she has been obsessed with sneaking in the bathroom and taking off her diaper and just sitting on her potty. I have also been changing more dry diapers than anything else. So this morning was the last morning that I was going to let her SNEAK in the bathroom. She now is allowed free access to that potty whenever she wants. So with little Elmo panties on her adorable tiny butt, the diary begins. I have enough diapers for her to sleep in but during awake hours it is all panties. I will sit her on her potty every half hour. This will work and my sweet girl will be diaper free soon and just in time for us to continue buying only one set of diapers per paycheck. Wish me luck, pray for me, any advice. Here we go.

No advice. Every kid is different. Just stick with it and you will be so grateful in the end! Good luck!
The biggest thing I can say is stick with it! I don't know if this will help, but this is what we did with Toby. We counted down until the diapers were gone, I kept showing her the diminishing pile. She wasn't allowed to wear her panties until the diapers were gone! The morning they were gone she helped me throw out the last diaper put the diaper pail away and put on her panties. We didn't even use diapers for night. I just laid down one of those pee pads and she slept on that. She only wet the bed twice and then understood she couldn't just go or she would get wet. It worked great for us! good luck!!
My friend after a week of training would take her kid somewhere fun and tell them that they don't have any extra panties and if they had a accident they would have to leave. She said they usually would have a accident, they would leave, child would fit, but it never happened again....?
