Potty Training... End of Day 2

So I think we have made some huge strides today, Oak and I both. We started when she woke up and she did great until lunch time. She had and accident and I take full blame for this one. After hearing every five minutes that she had to go potty though, I got lazy. I just said no you don't. Yeah I was wrong. I did not realize there was that much pee in something so little. So we took a bath and cleaned up. Then five minutes later, no joke, she peed again. This time I heard,"Mom I peed on floor." Okay no biggie. Little more encouragement, and a don't pee in your panties anymore, and we started again. Then again five minutes later. Even more pee!!!! OMG I wanted to die. This accident was accompanied by a swat on the bum(huge mistake!!!) and don't pee in your panties in a rather stern voice. I decided this time to turn on her favorite movie and let her sit on the potty while we watched that. SUCCESS!!! 2 pees and a poop! So then it was nap time. Poor thing. I think I scared her so bad that she screamed when she realized she had to sleep without a diaper. She finally fell asleep and no more accidents for the rest of the day. So Oak is doing great and is on the toilet every 10 minutes just because she is so worried about peeing in her panties and stupid mommy has spent the rest of the day trying to kiss Oak's butt with sweet words of encouragement and lots of over the top praise. I feel so bad I can't even tell you guys. I was just frustrated and SOOOOO tired. So please pray for us tonight because we have decided that the diapers are completely out. I am so hoping she goes dry through the night.
