So I just read one of wonderful friend's blogs(madalyn) and it brought me to tears. She talked about how much she loved her husband and son. How much she adored her son's laugh. It honestly touched my heart so deeply and broke it a little too. I have been going going going so much lately and had my mind on so many things that I forgot to love on my two best friends. My sweet girl is the sun in my life and I adore everything about her! I love the way her feet and toes curl when she is busy reading a book. I love how she has her daddy's huge blue eyes but she still squints all the time to try and have my tiny slit eyes. I love hearing her say "mama". I love hearing her have full on conversations(expressive hand motions and everything) when she is talking to her plastic phone. I love her sweet slope whoville nose. I love how she grabs the sides of my face and lightly kisses me and after which she repeats my thank you with a "cue". I love my strong supporting husband. I love how when I see his motorcycle pull into his parking spot at our home I still get butterflies even after 5 years. I love his rock solid conviction to the truth in life both spiritual and earthly. He is my mountain and I will forever be grateful for the good person that he has helped me become. I love my personal gifts from heaven with all of my being and am so grateful I can spend eternity with them. Thank you Madalyn for opening my eyes to what is important again.

No longer an itch but an ache...
After reading my loved ones blogs and seeing so many of my beautiful friends prego, I have to say that the itch I once had for Oak #2 in now a full on heart ache. Aaron really wants to wait to start trying later so that when I give birth this next time the sun will be out and maybe I won't go as crazy. I haven't talked about this in a while but I am still suffering with depression. The post-pardum clinically ends after 6 months and then it is just depression. But I am back to myself and doing GREAT! I am terrified to do it all again though. I am terrified that this time instead of my family just talking about having me committed that they will take action and padded walls will be my reality. I am scared to hate my child again. I am scared to hate myself. I am scared to tell my husband to leave. I am scared to not be able to remember the first couple months of my new blessing's life. I am scared of completely loosing it again. I can feel this new little spirit knocking on my uterus wall and saying "Mommy, let me out! Don't give up! I will make it all worth it!" I miss my babies. I want them here. But I don't want to lose myself again and be such a burden on everyone around me. I don't want them to think "Yeah that is my crazy sister or daughter". Just plain and simple I am scared out of my mind.
Crib bedding progress.
WARNING: This post is picture intensive. Walk away unless you have time to view EVERYTHING!
Everything all together. SO DANG CUTE!
One side of the crib bumper.
The other side.
One the pillows I made out of an old sweater. SO CUTE!
The modern little bird pillow I made out of an old dress.
Three pillows all together.
CUTE fabric on the quilt.
The whole quilt with a yummy minky border and back.(you just can't see the back, duh)
Crib skirt.
Quilt with the crib skirt.
Beautiful flower and leaf pattern all through the quilt. You can't see the thread on the mink back of the quilt but just the flower and leaf outlines. SO PERFECT!
There you go. I still need to finish the curtains and the rest of the bumpers. I will post a picture of everything when I finish. ENJOY Ash. Love you and the babe.
Rub a dub, Oak in a tub.
Strawberries!!!
My strawberry plant that I bought on the side of the road about a month and half ago is doing fantastic!!! I sampled my first one this morning and it was a little tart(I was to excited to wait any longer). It is so rewarding to be able to eat something that I have grown and taken care of. It is such a testimony builder to know that if it came down to it, I could grow my families food and we would be just fine. So thank you Heavenly Father for giving a bit of a green thumb!
Green thumb that isn't really green but metaphorically could be because my plants are not dead.
